The training of particular flints
The shape is flint is variable and depends on multiple factors.
The initial shape depends on heterogeneousnesses and on differences of porosity which exist in the chalky mud of surface. The flow of waters oxyques pénétre with more or less of ease. The existence of galleries or cavities dug by bodies or caused by the escape of fluid facilitates the penetration. The haste of silica learns on walls and increases more or less in the space if the chemical conditions remain favorable.
Tabular flints form when the chalk is relatively homogeneous or maybe by earth tremor when the flint is freshly trained.
When the flint forms from galleries, the growth takes place from a skeleton (in the sense the mathematical Morphology) and evolves as a dilation (always in the same mathematical sense). According to the intensity of this dilation, the shape will be hail or thickened, more or less taken away from the initial shape.
