Day of Prayer for the China

We celebrate this Thursday the world day of prayer for the China. On 24 May is in effect a day dedicated to the liturgical Memorial of Mary, "Relief of christians", venerated with great devotion in the shrine of Sheshan in Shanghai.

On Sunday, during the prayer of the Regina Coeli, the Pope had invited the faithful gathered in St Peter's square "to unite in prayer with all Catholics of China "for that they announce with humility and joy Christ died and was resurrected, for they are faithful to his Church and to the Successor of Peter and they live everyday in a manner consistent with the faith which they profess".
